Steps to find your perfect home:
Get Pre-Qualified/Pre-approved
This is the first step that should be taken before proceeding with the home searching process. It allows you to know how much you can comfortably afford. This is accomplished by speaking with a respected financial institution. If you need assistance locating an expert lender we can provide a list of some to you.
Determine Your Wants and Needs
Next, we like to set up an appointment with you to answer any questions you may have and get a feel of your wants and needs in a home. We can then search available properties on the Multiple Listing Service in Maryland or West Virginia. This helps us get an initial foundation of what homes most interest you. Our goal is to not waste your time by looking at properties that are not in your price range or homes that don't meet your needs.
Home Showings
After we locate some homes that interest you we will set up showings to view them. This can include properties listed with our office, offered through other real estate companies, new homes with builders, as well as unlisted properties. We will disclose all known facts about the property that are likely to affect your decision and we will give you our honest and knowledgeable opinion for any questions you may have. When we find the home that meets your criteria, we will assist you in writing an offer. Under no circumstances will we pressure you into buying a home you are not totally satisfied with. With our daily market searches we are confident we will find that perfect home.
Settlement and Beyond
We will keep you informed of any details every step of the way to settlement of your new home. Since most of our business comes from satisfied past clients we are always there for you with any questions or needs you may have in the future. Even if it's as simple as finding what your neighbors home is listed for across the street?
We charge no administrative or processing fees, and since the seller usually pays commission costs you owe us nothing.
